Stack Exchange network consists of 175 Q&A communities including Stack Overflow, the largest, most trusted online community for developers to learn, share their knowledge, and build their careers.
Is it a good idea to use the same naming nomenclature (e.g. camelCase) for both front end (eg. Javascipt) and backend (eg. php) ?
If you are the only developer I'd say you should use same naming convention on both.
If there is any chance that someone else will look at your code you should follow the naming conventions of each language in separation.
