Is using SignalR opening holes in security? And, also if it is heavy and load on server if lets say there are 1000 users at a time?

Can anyone advise on what is good and bad approaches when using SignalR in terms of security and load on server?

Thanks

It doesn't make sense to talk about "security" without context. What is your threat model? What are you securing? Who are you securing it against? How valuable is the thing you are securing to you? How valuable is it to your attacker? How many resources are you willing to spend for security? How many resources is your attacker willing to spend? – Jörg W Mittag Feb 7 at 10:36
