I have to develop an app which has nearly 50 plus API calls to the server. And iOS app is just a UI layer for the API responses. Also based on these responses, application UI states gets updated in different tab controller. Is it good to place all API call methods in class methods using a shared static class? Or should we separate API calls into different modules based on the type of functionality it provides? How do we design the architecture of such an application?

  • If you look at how https requests work in iOS, class methods are a bad idea. You want an object representing a request. – gnasher729 Feb 11 at 22:37
