Sep 9, 2011 at 14:41 | comment | added | David Peterman | +1 again for whiteboards. my company finally got me one and it has been an awesome boost to productivity. The ability to easily jot down ideas without little scribbles all over a piece of paper is awesome!

Jul 15, 2009 at 11:42 | comment | added | JeeBee | Well integrated virtual desktops on a 24" (or 30") monitor (Linux, Mac OS X) beat dual monitors of a slightly smaller size and no virtual desktop (Windows). I am only ever looking at one monitor at a time, it's just that switching applications in Windows sucks, and XP at work isn't getting upgraded soon.
Apr 13, 2009 at 15:28 | comment | added | KyleFarris | Yeah, the whiteboard in my office is completely filled with notes and tasks I need to complete. Very useful.

Jan 26, 2009 at 16:26 | comment | added | pi. | I can not work with 2 monitors, hurts my neck always looking left, right, left, right. I use virtual desktops (Linux).

Dec 16, 2008 at 18:53 | comment | added | FryGuy | My workplace had the crappy ball-mouse that dell ships. I honestly thought laser mouses were cheaper to manufacture, but I guess I was wrong. Either that, or Dell is masochistic. I don't mind purchasing a mouse, so I bought one at Fry's
Dec 3, 2008 at 19:53 | comment | added | Karl | I brought in my own mouse because the supplied one only had two buttons and a wheel. I cant believe youre using a ball!
Oct 9, 2008 at 19:47 | comment | added | pmlarocque | yeah all workplace lack of whiteboard.
Sep 25, 2008 at 20:18 | comment | added | moffdub | Yes Aydsman, it would be nice if they provided me with an optical mouse, but I should probably bring my own. But, I did bring in my own whiteboard markers. :)
