You throw a person in a pond, making sure it's not too deep, and let them swim. You were one of those that learned to swim, but that's not universal (see his answer w/ comments). Also I believe this type of approach works better for new people than those that already have ingrained habits. Then, not only do they need to swim, but it's also against the current of established practices. | |
