May 8, 2012 at 14:05 comment added Kilian Foth Nope, a BufferedFileWriter will keep a certain amount of data in memory, but that amount is a fixed quantity, depending on the environment it's called in. It doesn't grow unbounded with the number of bytes you push through it - that would be a recipe for disaster!
