Sep 10, 2012 at 13:02 comment added RationalGeek @Tjaart thanks. I have used MS DTC before and while it is pretty simple, it does add complexity beyond a simple DB txn so I want to avoid it whenever possible.

Once you have that up and running it should be simple to accomplish what you speak of.
