@Johnbot: they certainly can, but in a very limited number of cases. What if I have a SomeBusiness.Something.DoStuff(string name, string description) ? No tool is smart enough to understand what is a name and what is a description.

Situations like these can be detected by tools. ReSharper marks the paramName with the InvokerParameterName attribute and issues a warning if no such parameter exist.
