Oct 13, 2016 at 18:17 comment added Bent @ThomasOwens ok, so we go into the mid 1990's. That is still 20 years ago. Spiral does not seem to have won through, though.

Oct 13, 2016 at 18:02 comment added Thomas Owens @Bent Never read Rapid Development, I'm guessing. Steve McConnell talks about Spiral for a good chunk of the book.
Oct 13, 2016 at 17:31 comment added Bent The problem with this question is that the possible answers aren't defined and seems to be restricted to what is in the book (which by the way we do not know anything about). It sounds like the book is from the late 1980's. I haven't heard about the spiral model since back then. Very few answers that are relevant today seem to apply.

Oct 13, 2016 at 16:34 comment added Thomas Owens It doesn't matter if this is homework - it describes the problem, the understanding of the problem, and points of confusion. Plus, it's on topic - process and methodology questions belong here. This is exactly what the meta post on homework help and questions asks for.
