Supportability is more important than most other considerations so don't be too clever :) That said, if you're an ORM shop don't forget that there are instances where ORM is not the answer and you do need to write direct SQL. Don't optimize prematurely but there will be times in any non-trivial application when you will have to go down this route. | |
