So, let's say I'm stupid enough to attempt something like: int someVariable; cin << someVariable; if (object.thingThatShouldNotBeChanged = someVariable && someVariable == 8008) doSomethingThatEndUserShouldNeverBeAbleToDo(); I've just thrown the door wide open for a malicious actor to come in and mess things up. | |
