Timeline for Convert filenames to their checksum before saving to prevent duplicates. Is is a smart thing to do?

I was thinking of presenting all downloads through a script and generate a filename according to size/tags/other characteristics, close to what Mark Trapp was proposing, but on output, not input. | |
