Visualization of N>2-D array?
Have you considered 3D cube + 2 sliders to control the other 2 dimensions? Or an 'animation' that scrolls through one of the dimensions? This is standard technique for visualizing 4D objects (like the Tesseract)

Do I need to make the source code available to a modified AGPL application if the application is only exclusively available over my private LAN?
@miraculixx If I were you, I'd make this into an answer, as it is the most correct explanation

I think you're wrong here: you don't need to 'convey' a copy in order to be obligated to provide the source of the program. Take a look at article 13 of the AGPL.

Does some code inherit GNU GPL if it just links to a GPL library?
Best answer (IMO). There is yet to be a major lawsuit regarding whether GPL applies to dynamic linking.

Is Java much harder to "tweak" for performance compared with C/C++?
@LieRyan If you only call const methods on this vector, I'm pretty sure many optimizing compilers will figure it out.

Why does Java allow to implement different interfaces, each containing a method with the same signature?
@SoftwareEngeneeringLearner Sorry, my bad here. You are correct and your question makes more sense now, but I really think you should either rephrase, or even better, ask a new question about this, specifying the differing return types. Having two methods with the same signature, but different return types (IMO) can be an issue.

@SoftwareEngeneeringLearner In Java method signature includes return type

Is there an appropriate coding style for implementing an algorithm during an interview?
+1, just one thing: I'm certain there are people who use if(const == var) just because they've seen other people do it and repeat it mechanically, so I'd ask why they do it this way.

Should I use the factory design pattern for every class?
You just specify the MainFactory and the platform runtime's factory creates your MainFactory, so that it can create the Main class. Simple as that (joking ofc). Otherwise, solid answer.

My father is a doctor. He is insisting on writing a database to store non-critical patient information, with no programming background
@JörgWMittag True, but then again, we all start with 'IANAL' and conclude with 'ask a real lawyer'.

How to check if 4 points form a square?
One of the two good answers. Don't use sqrt unless crucial! You don't need to degrade integer calculations to FP... not to mention worsen the precision of the FP computation.
